I love this angle. You really get a different and close up look at this artwork. I really love slab work because I love being able to carve into it and create anything that I want. I think this is probably one of my favorite slab pieces that I have ever done. Again I really hope the guy likes it.

I love this slab work that I did. I really like it and I hope that the person I am giving it to likes it too. I made it for SSTG Conley since he is in Iraq right now and I thought it would be nice to make him something to cheer him up a little bit. I know he's having a rough time over there so hopefully when I get this all painted it will turn out really well. I hope.

Raku was originally created in Japan during the 16th century. Since the ceramics pieces were pulled from the kiln then put in cool water they then were used for tea ceremonies. About 1960's raku was introduced in the US.

Perry Okimoto is one of the many raku artists. He has degrees in photography and graphic design from the University in Hawaii. He also has a degree in international studies from Florence Italy and has been practically all over the world. He is very well educated in art and does a great with raku.

This bowl is just one of his many raku ceramics and sculptures.

I really like this. It reminds me of a seashell. I love how it turned like a metalic green. It really makes me want to go to the beach right now.

I really like this teapot. I wish I had it because I like the style to it, it has its own uniqueness about it. I really like how the raku showed on this teapot.

Angle side Oh ya.

Side view of the pinch pot. View the writing. I love how that turned out. It says "Through thick and thin you hold me close." Yeah yeah I know how sweet, bla bla bla. Still turned out awesome.

I love this pinch pot. I made it for my boyfriend Nick for Valentine's day. I love the way the glass came about on the pinch pot. I would have to say this is probably my best pinch I have done so far.

Frank's good side.
Well my friends decided to name this blob Frank.
Frank is a pretty cool character. He has yellow spikey hair blue body yellow smile and beedy little black eyes. He also has some brown vine going around him. I don't know why I decided to put it around him but again I believe it gives character. Oh he also has a black nose.

This is AWESOME!!! I think this brings a new meaning to garden art. I like how it is a face and just everything around it is being used somehow for this picture. It is truly my favorite garden art that I have seen. I love the trail of flowers being the tears. This is just amazing and I love it. I honestly just love how you can get the texture of this art work. On the sides you get that feeling of soft hair and everything. This is just awesome!!!

I like this piece of art because of the fact I like how the birds are in this garden. It is interesting to me because it does catch my eye.
I like this art work because of the fact it is different.

It seem to have a forest look to it but then you will also see cactuses. It's different because it has forest and it has western style to it. I also like how the red in this painting pops out of the art work. It is very interesting.

For some reason I like this A because of the fact it is in a bubble form and I really don't know it just caught my attention.

This makes me think of the 60's during the hippie days. It creates a soft look but then also a sharp edge look with the letters.

Where is the Sun?? Good question...well it's behind some clouds right now. You have to love the Midwest right? Well anyways I like this text because it grows bigger to the bottom and then I like how some parts of the letters are popping out and some aren't. This is probably one of my favorite kind of texts.

I love Sara Lee. That is why I love this mug.

This just makes me laugh. I love humor in art.
